Lilly Pulitzer NOW OPEN at Disney Springs + SALES!

Lilly Pulitzer officially opened at Disney Springs here in Walt Disney World on May 24th, 2016.

Did you hear the angels sing? I did.

I scooted over after work to see the new space. It's located in the covered 'train depot' section of the new addition to Disney Springs. Loads of photos are at the end of the post, so scroll on down if you're so inclined.

In usually Lilly style, the boutique is decked out in bright, bold prints on the walls. Melissa Sixma is the mastermind behind these, and travels to each store to put her hand-painted touch on each one.

The fitting rooms are a mixture of hand-painted and wallpaper. It is said (by Lilly's official Snapchat!) that there is a hidden Mickey in each fitting room, but I failed you, dear readers, and did not find a single one. I even asked several of the employees, and they were not aware either. Looks like we all have some digging to do. (Oh darn, twist my arm to HAVE to spend more time in a Lilly fitting room!)

I headed in and started Snapchatting away. Hopefully you were able to follow along and saw some of the footage. If not, I've included my Snap story below.

I was happy to see one of my managers from when I worked at the Mall at Millenia store, Jaime. She's a Disney and Lilly fan as well, so she's in hog heaven getting to manage this location now.

After Snapping, it was time to get down to business. And by that I mean browsing the wares to see what might work over this ever-expanding baby bump. I took quite a few options into the fitting room and went to town.

Surprisingly, a handful of things worked. These were the items that were hanging on my 'possibly-maybe' hook in the fitting room:

And these are what ended up coming home with me:

I'll do a separate post on my pregnancy style in the very near future, including what sizes I've been buying in my Lilly to wear as 'maternity' clothes.

Hubby met up with me right as I was ringing up my purchases (talk about bad timing, geez!); but it was an easier pill to swallow when we discovered that Cast Members get a 20% discount! SO, the more I spend the more I save, right? Isn't that how it works? I think so.

I spy a cute (but ready to go) husband in the background:

After shopping, we met up with our friends Angie and Danny and snacked our way through the new area of Disney Springs.

John and I split the Southern Classic burger at D-LUXE Burger- de-licious!

Then we all grabbed a cupcake from Sprinkles (get a free cupcake just by registering on their site).

Then it was on to the new Morimoto Asia Street Food take-away window, where we split a Tempura Shrimp Handroll.

Finally, we hit up the Poutine stand. French fries covered in beef gravy with cheese curds- what could be bad? Nothing, I tell ya. It was all good.

Ok, before I go, I wanted to give you a heads up on some sales that are happening.

Starting Friday, May 27th, Lilly is offering tiered gifts with purchase through Memorial Day.

Nordstrom just started their 40% off sale that runs through June 5th. Shop early for the best selection, including these Jack Rogers ($89.90) and Hunter rainboots ($89.96).

Get 20% off a Serena and Lily through Tuesday with code HEREWEGO. A few of my favorites for Baby Will's nursery include this crib sheet ($28.80) and foot stools ($46.40).

Get up to 60% off select pieces, plus free ground shipping, at Kendra Scott through Monday at midnight. I love this pyrite necklace ($49.97) and this stackable ring trio ($64.97).

Finally, Kate Spade is having a surprise sale through Thursday, May 26th. I picked up these pave bow studs (only $19, originally $48!). This little snail coin purse is cute too, and would make a sweet gift for a girlfriend.

Ok, I think that's all for now. I'll be doing a Lilly giveaway in the next few days, as well as a long-overdue Blog Sale, so stay tuned!

Thanks for reading.

XO, Ashley

  1. When I was at Disney Springs, Lily wasn't open yet; can't wait to get back over there soon! The Disney Springs snacks are very yummy; although i wasn't a fan of the cheese curds, I ate everything else and had to toss those. :( I missed all these sales; seeing as I'm catching this blog post AFTER the holiday weekend, lol Kari *o*

  2. This place doesn’t have any 'i'm too cool and busy for you' wait staff. As per me, everyone at venues in Atlanta is nice, friendly, and helpful and they really seem to like their jobs there and that is important to me. We had an awesome experience here.
